Health & Wellness Guarantee – English Bulldog Puppies

At Crown Bulldogs, we proudly raise our English Bulldog puppies in our home with attentive, proactive veterinary care. The following health protections apply to every puppy we place.

Veterinary Examination

The Buyer must have their English Bulldog puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within seven (7) days of receiving the puppy.

If the veterinarian identifies a serious congenital defect or underlying illness during this initial exam, a full refund of the adoption fee—including transportation costs—will be issued upon the safe return of the puppy.

Breed-Specific Coverage

Because English Bulldogs can be predisposed to certain hereditary conditions, we provide a 24-month health guarantee against serious congenital defects.

If the puppy is diagnosed with a covered genetic condition—such as severe hip dysplasia, significant cardiac abnormalities, debilitating respiratory defects (BOAS), or serious hereditary eye disorders—by two (2) licensed veterinarians, the Buyer may return the puppy for either:

• A full refund of the adoption fee (including transportation costs), or

• A replacement English Bulldog puppy of equal value, when available.

Communicable Diseases

If the puppy is diagnosed with a communicable disease within fourteen (14) days of arrival, a full refund of the adoption fee, including transportation costs, will be issued upon return of the puppy.

Transportation & Delivery

Shipping:
If the puppy is shipped, the Buyer is responsible for all transportation costs. We work only with reputable, professional pet transport services and provide tracking information for transparency and peace of mind.

Pickup:
If the Buyer chooses in-person pickup, a non-refundable deposit is required at the time of signing this agreement. The remaining balance must be paid in full at pickup.

Cost & Payment Terms

The full adoption fee must be paid prior to delivery, whether the puppy is shipped or picked up in person. For pickup arrangements, a non-refundable deposit secures the reservation, with the remaining balance due at the time of pickup.

Buyer’s Responsibilities

The Buyer agrees to provide lifelong, responsible care for their English Bulldog puppy, including:

• High-quality nutrition appropriate for Bulldogs

• Fresh water at all times

• Safe, climate-controlled shelter (Bulldogs are sensitive to heat)

• Routine veterinary care and vaccinations

• Daily companionship and moderate exercise

• Consistent training and early socialization

The Buyer must also comply with all applicable state and local laws regarding dog ownership.

English Bulldog–Specific Care Recommendations

Due to the breed’s unique characteristics, we strongly recommend:

• Monitoring breathing and avoiding overheating

• Maintaining a healthy weight to reduce joint stress

• Regular cleaning of facial wrinkles to prevent moisture buildup and infection

• Routine skin care and allergy monitoring

• Veterinary evaluation for respiratory health if concerns arise

• Avoiding strenuous exercise, especially in hot or humid conditions

• Early socialization and basic obedience training for a confident, well-mannered companion

This agreement represents the full understanding between Crown Bulldogs and the Buyer. Any modifications must be made in writing and signed by both parties.
